Case Closed On Mass Effect 2 And The Curse Of The Tiny Text Mass Effect
(via Kotaku) - Like some other 360 titles like Dead Rising, Mass Effect 2 has tiny text, which users on small TVs and with poor eyesight are having trouble reading. Is BioWare going to fix the problem? Nope. Just like Dead Rising, it's no easy fix, and since BioWare feel it affects only "a small portion of SDTV owners", they "are unable to resolve it for Mass Effect 2 through a title update".

Doodle Jump Micro-Review: Boing Review
(via Kotaku) - Doodle Jump: simple title, simple game. Players are what looks like a green Snork-like creature. It's a doodle-drawing platforming test of endurance in which players try to bounce as high as they can. But does simple mean satisfying? By tilting the iPod/iPhone, the character bounces right or left onto the platforms.

Sony Still Losing Money On Every PS3 Sold But Not As Much Business
(via Kotaku) - Last we checked, Sony was losing money on every PS3 sold, at $37 a pop. Checking in this week, we find the company is still losing money on every PS3 sold. But now, it's only $18. Yes, having reduced the functionality and the size of the console, and benefited from natural declines in the cost of component parts since the PS3 launched in 2006, Sony has got the PS3 down to the point where by 2011 the company estimates it'll finally be making money on every console that goes out the door.

All is Forgiven, Miss America Miss America
(via Kotaku) - So Caressa Cameron, crowned Miss America on Sunday, opened her yearlong reign with some alienating things to say about video games. Chalk that up to extemporaneous speaking. Here she assures Major Nelson she wants to learn how to play them. We mentioned that Cameron's first post-coronation comments were intended to motivate parents to set better standards for their children, but devolved into the usual shut-off-the-console cliché.

Which industry figures could make Romero their bitch? Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Has A Secret Platform It's the iPhone Sega
(via Kotaku) - Sega will be milking the announcement of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for all its worth, doling out additional announcements and countdown clocks to drum up hedgehog hype. Get Acquainted With Dante's Sins Clips
(via Kotaku) - The latest Dante's Inferno trailer provides us with a quick recap of the sins of man - lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud, treachery, and using leetspeak. I might have made up one of those. It's a lovely trailer and all, but I can't help but wonder what changes Dante Alighieri would have made to his sin lineup had he written The Divine Comedy today.

What Are You Playing This Weekend? Lazy Sundays
(via Kotaku) - BioShock 2! BioShock 2! On Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, that's what I'll be playing this weekend, drilling my way toward the end of the game and hopefully unlocking a World's Greatest Big Daddy coffee mug reward for my Avatar. Oh, they don't actually have such a thing (as far as I know) in BioShock 2, but that would be a fine unlockable, something that would quickly replace the Left 4 Dead 2 medpack that my Xbox Live Avatar is currently sporting.

Panelfly Comic Reader Makes The iPad A Bit More Attractive Ipad
(via Kotaku) - I thought Apple's new iPad was a completely ridiculous waste of money, until I saw pictures of the iPad version of Panelfly's comic book reader. Now it's just slightly ridiculous. There was absolutely no way I was shelling out $500 plus for an iPad in March. There was no application Apple could show me, nor game you could have me play that would sway my resolve.
