ESRB Rates Lips: I Heart the 80s
(via 1Up) - The Electronic Software Ratings Board has issued a Teen rating for Lips: I (Heart) the 80s, and inadvertently also announced Lips: I (Heart) the 80s in the process. This will be the fourth installment of iNiS's karaoke party game for the Xbox 360, following the original Lips (pictured), Lips: Number One Hits, and Lips: Party Classics.

South Korean Couple Lets Baby Die While Nurturing Virtual Child
(via 1up) - Sometimes, stories about video game addiction are alarmist malarkey to bump up ratings. Other times, they're just flat-out tragic: The Next Web reports that a couple in South Korea has been arrested for allegedly allowing their prematurely born baby to starve to death while they were busy tending to a virtual kid at an Internet café.

Bad Company 2 Players Reporting Lost Stats
(via 1Up) - Enjoying Battlefield: Bad Company 2's multiplayer mode? Would you still be enjoying it if suddenly all the stats you've accrued and weapons and ranks you unlocked disappeared? That seems to be happening to wide swaths of players, as complaints are flooding Electronic Arts' official Bad Company 2 forums (not to mention a number of other popular gaming forums across the Internet).
