Sierra Cascades Bicycle Route maps available soon
(via Biking Bis - Bicycle Touring and More) - The long wait for Sierra Cascades Bicycle Route is almost over. The Adventure Cycling Association says the full maps will be available in mid April. An overview map is available online. It shows the general route of the 2,392-mile bike route that parallels the Pacific Crest on paved roads.

Verizon confirms block of 4chan sites
(via After Dawn) - Christopher Poole, founder of the infamous meme site 4chan came out this week claiming that Verizon was "explicitly blocking" access to the site, and it appears Poole may have been right. Jeff Nelson, a public relations employee for the ISP said via Twitter this morning: "2 of 4Chan affiliates were staging for attacks.

The Pirate Bay blocked in Italy, a second time
(via After Dawn) - After first being blocked in 2008, an Italian court has once again ruled that ISPs in the nation must block access to the infamous torrent tracker The Pirate Bay, leaving millions of users without access to one of the most popular sites on the planet. In the original case, after an appeal by the Pirate Bay, the Court of Bergamo ruled that foreign websites cannot be blocked over alleged copyright infringement.

Nook e-reader is available again

Sharp and Samsung settle LCD patent disputes

EA Plans Dead Space 2, Next Dragon Age For 2011 It's A Date
(via Kotaku) - Electronic Arts has is aiming for the first quarter of 2011 for two of its bigger upcoming releases, pegging Visceral Games' Dead Space 2 and BioWare's next Dragon Age title for release by March 31 of next year. EA also lists the Dead Space and Dragon Age sequels as bound for handheld platforms in addition to consoles in its quarterly financial update, with "Dragon Age Title TBA" also coming to the PC.

Dubbed the BenQ V2220/V2220H, the 15mm-thick monitor has a 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and offers Full HD 1080p playback. DeviceMag adds that "the LED monitor has been designed in such a way that it possesses the ability to reveal detail in darkly lit areas of the screen rendered as undifferentiated blocks on less capable displays.

Relax, Square Enix Is Doing Just Fine Final Fantasy XIII
