(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Wii Warm Up Hear the one about the WiiWare game that cost 500 Wii Points and came with 1,500 Points worth of downloadable content? We refer, of course, to Space Invaders Get Even!, a title that we have gushed about for some time, only to discover it comes with some very pricey DLC.

Rumor: A third Wii lightsaber game, with MotionPlus this time
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Rumors We were a little puzzled when LucasArts introduced Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels before the release of The Force Unleashed on Wii, whose major selling point was ... an exclusive lightsaber duel mode. It seemed as if we were being told to disregard that first game that wasn't out yet, because the real thing was on the way.

(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Rumors It's coming! No it's not! Yes it is! You get the idea. Since it was first exposed to the world more than two years ago, Disaster: Day of Crisis has been shrouded in FUD.Recently however, the project's vitals have been looking healthier by the week. The OFLC age-rated the game in Australia, Nintendo itself has stated that progress is being made on development, and a supposedly leaked release date for Europe (October 24th) has now appeared on NeoGAF.

Nintendo of Europe rubs it in with Hanabi Festival video
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Imports, VideoThe strangest thing about this Hanabi Festival video, found on the Dutch Nintendo Channel, is seeing Nintendo promoting the Virtual Console at all. Nintendo of America grudgingly allows the bare minimum of content to be released to the (apparently) hated service, and would never dream of going so far as to have a special event like the Hanabi Festival or talk about it outside of that one press release every Monday morning.

Alien Crush Returns, Bomberman Blast to make American debut at PAX
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: News, WiiWare Tycho and Gabe, as well as all those other game companies, must be feeling pretty insecure right now, because they're all going to be upstaged by a humble WiiWare game. Or, at least, that would be the case if this year's Penny Arcade Expo were being attended exclusively by a crowd of weirdos just like us, because Hudson will have Alien Crush Returns and Bomberman Blast on display at their booth.
