On the 20th of this month, the Japanese iTunes Music Store will be invaded by the Space Invaders Get Even soundtrack. The album, which costs 1,500 yen, contains new orchestrated and electronic music from Taito's house band Zuntata. Some of the songs on the album apparently won't be featured in the game, which to us suggests remixes.

Without outright saying "Hey guys, we're making an Elebits sequel," Konami Product Manager Gregg Nolan has openly discussed aspects of a new Wii game in the series in an interview we found behind the fridge at Siliconera.When he says "new," Gregg means new -- this won't be a port of forthcoming DS title Elebits: Adventures of Kai & Zero, but a totally fresh Elebits experience, one which follows on from the story in the first game, and overlaps with the characters and environments in the DS title.

Such is the situation with GoldenEye 007, fondly remembered and much-loved N64 shooter of yesteryear.Speaking to Videogamer.com, Rare senior software engineer Nick Burton said that the bid to bring the eleven-year-old game to either the Virtual Console or Xbox Live Arcade was "locked in this no man's land," and that it was up to the separate license holders to play nice before the greatest Bond game of all time could be made available for download on any service.

Bungie and Microsoft have been attached at the hip for awhile now. Some gamers are Halo haters, a lot more are Halo lovers (folks do like to buy those games).
