Homebrew app Ocarina makes cheating that much easier
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: HomebrewYou've got to love the Homebrew community. They're constantly trying to cut corners and this latest app, Ocarina, is no different. Instead of spending time inputting button commands in-game, you can simply inject them, Game Genie or Action Replay-style, into the game.

Eternity's Trailer
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Video We tend to think of Luc Bernard's Eternity's Child primarily as a WiiWare game -- probably because we're biased -- but the WiiWare version won't be the first version of this game to be released. We know this for a fact. But we don't hate on games here just because they aren't exclusive; in fact, if we think something is truly great, we relish the opportunity to share it with our differently-consoled friends.

Everything Mama: Hudson reveals Hard Working People
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: News, Imports Hudson launched a site for a previously unannounced Wii game called Hataraku Hito (Working People), whose English name is translated as Hard Working People. It's -- we know, this is traumatic -- a minigame collection. But it's a really cute minigame collection about taking on various part-time jobs.

Top 5: Activities that Need Waggle
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Top Five Hardcore gamers sure do hate tacked-on waggle. Indeed, no one likes to flail their arms around like they're trying to signal aircraft when a simple button press will do. And the guys on the other sides seem to be under the impression that the Wii is nothing but a PS2 that replaces thumb pressing with wrist flicking.

Now, the deal is supposed to include Wii Fit, and even shows it in the bundle of applicable titles on their website (click here for screen grab), but, according to one of our readers, store employees may not be hip to their own employer's sale.

Manhunt 2 controversy rules out Saints Row Wii
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: News, Interviews The controversy that was whipped up over Rockstar's naughty Manhunt 2 may be more far-reaching than we originally thought; for example, it's pretty much scared Volition right off the idea of producing a Saints Row game for the Wii.Volition's Dan Sutton thinks that a Wii iteration of the crime epic would create little more than an unwanted hoo-hah, particularly with motion controls thrown into the mix.

Mega Man 9 to flicker like it's 1987
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: News, WiiWare We're beginning to suspect Capcom of tapping our phones, intercepting our emails, and reading our diaries. After learning that it would be possible to play Mega Man 9 using an NES controller (via an adaptor), we foolishly believed that the Blue Bomber's WiiWare comeback could not be any more faithful to Mega Man's 8-bit roots.

Waste no time and get into the video above, then head past the break for even more. Sonic The Hedgehog (Sega Master System, 1 player, 500 Wii Points)Wii Fanboy says: do not download Why would you want to play this version when the superior version is already on the Virtual Console? Seriously, the Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog is so much better than this.

Wii Warm Up: If it were up to you

Hey, it's a fantasy scenario; we can't have road blocks like laws getting in the way here.

(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: News, Interviews, Peripherals The Wii has long been heralded as the cheapest console out there, but that claim soon weakens if you want to own every add-on that is available for the console.
