Captain Rainbow gets a Big Mac Attack
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Video We're not referring to hamburgers, although they were no doubt involved with the transformation of Punch-Out!!'s diminutive protagonist from lithe, tiny athlete to pseudo-Cartman. Captain Rainbow is very quickly revealing itself as more than a top-down, adventure-based take on the same Japanese superhero tropes explored in Viewtiful Joe: it's a haven for lost Nintendo characters.

E308: Wii Fanboy takes a hammer to Our House
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Features Majesco had a solid line-up of games at E3. Cooking Mama: World Kitchen looks promising and, until I got my hands on it, Major Minor's Majestic March also looked very good. You aren't restricted to just one farm, instead able to spread many a seed across many a land. Aside from that, the game very much feels like all of the other Harvest Moon titles, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on whether you're a fan of the series or not.

Hacker crams NES experience into NES controller
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: Fan stuff, Tech stuff, Controller, VideoWhile we lack the skills (and free time) it takes to do anything other than blog, folks are out there, doing crazy DIY projects. This is one of them. Now, we don't condone the use of illegal emulators and ROMs, but cramming an entire NES experience into the NES controller is impressive nonetheless.

It's-a Mario World: Persistent Foes
(via Nintendo Wii Fanboy) - Filed under: It's-a Mario World Today is Thursday, which means we can't stop appending the letter 'A' to our contractions, even though we know it's-a trite way to cue Charles Martinet's voice acting. But now that we've triggered your Mario alarm, we would like to welcome you back to Wii Fanboy's weekly feature dedicated to our triple-jumping hero.

No, not the company's showing at E3, but rather the storage issues of the console. He said that "from an Americas-centric perspective," the Wii's storage limitations are becoming a "mainstream" problem.
